Gaskets or seals?
Although the terms are often used interchangeably and some might argue all gaskets perform the function of a seal, there can be significant differences between gaskets and seals depending on the applications to which they’re put. Gaskets are most often used in static environments whereas seals can be employed in rotary situations.
